LOVE AS A REVOLUTION

“'Love As A Revolution' is a mural commissioned by The Royal Shakespeare Company. It depicts seven stories of love, and the mural itself is an illustrated timeline that runs across the four walls of the Paccar Room. Inspired by Romeo & Juliet, it focusses on seven different people or movements throughout time that have revolutionised what love can look like, and broken down barriers for us to love how and who we choose. It looks at love not just as in romantic relationships, but pushing the agenda that love is also strength, unity, inclusion, and acceptance.

This solo exhibition ran for 3 months in 2018, and was later recommissioned at the Barbican in London.
