Bristol Bus Boycott

The end of 2023 marked 60 years since the infamous Bristol Bus Boycott.

This movement has been a pillar in Bristol’s history, not just for black African and Caribbean communities but for the city as a whole.
It instigated nationwide change, and was a
key moment in the civil rights movement.

This mural was created at Hannah Moore
Primary School to commemorate and pay homage to those involved and their commitment to equality.
